After breakfast, your day will be spent exploring the beautiful Indus Valley. The first stop will be Shey Palace, built on a hilltop. Inside the palace, you’ll see a stunning copper statue of Lord Buddha and a tall victory tower decorated with gold at the top.
Next, you’ll get a chance to meet the monks and talk with them about their peaceful way of life. After that, visit Thiksey Monastery, the largest monastery in central Ladakh, known for its beautiful architecture and calm surroundings. Then, head to Hemis Monastery, located along the banks of the Indus River.
In the evening, enjoy a leisurely walk through Leh’s local market, where you can shop for traditional handicrafts and souvenirs. Later, return to your hotel for a delicious dinner and an overnight stay.
