Itinerary

Day 1Dehradun/Haridwar – Barkot (175 km / 5.5 hours) | Altitude: 1352 m

Your Chardham Yatra begins as you arrive at Dehradun Airport or Haridwar Railway Station. Upon arrival, our representative will warmly receive you and assist you on your scenic drive to Barkot via Mussoorie. En route, take a refreshing break at the famous Kempty Falls, where you can enjoy the natural beauty and capture memorable photos.

Continue your journey to Barkot and check in at your pre-booked hotel. After completing the check-in formalities, spend the rest of the day at leisure. You may relax at the hotel or explore the surroundings, as the weather here remains pleasant throughout the year. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

Start your day early and drive towards Jankichatti/Phoolchatti, the base point for the 6 km trek to Yamunotri. You can complete the trek on foot or opt for a horse or palki, available at your own expense. The trail is surrounded by lush green valleys adorned with conifers, rhododendrons, cacti, and other Himalayan flora—making the journey refreshing and scenic.

Before entering the temple, pilgrims usually visit Surya Kund, a natural hot spring. Devotees tie rice in a white cloth and dip it into the boiling water; the rice cooks instantly and is carried back as Prasad. A holy bath at Jamnabai Kund and darshan at Divya Shila precede the main worship.

Offer your prayers to Maa Yamunaji at the sacred Yamunotri Temple. After darshan, trek back to Jankichatti and drive to Barkot. Enjoy dinner and a restful overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 3Barkot – Uttarkashi (82 km / 2.8 hours) | Altitude: 1352 m

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your drive to Uttarkashi, a sacred town nestled along the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Upon arrival, visit the revered Vishwanath Temple, one of the oldest and most significant Shiva temples in Northern India. Also explore the Shakti Temple, renowned for its massive Trishul, symbolizing divine power.

Later, proceed to your hotel, complete the check-in formalities, and relax. The rest of the day is free for leisure. Enjoy dinner and spend a peaceful night in Uttarkashi.

Day 4Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

Begin your day with a scenic drive towards the sacred town of Gangotri. En route, stop at Gangnani to take a purifying dip in the natural hot spring, Garam Kund. Continue your journey through the picturesque Harsil Valley, known for its serene landscapes and dense deodar forests.

Upon reaching Shree Gangotri, take a holy dip in the divine River Ganga—known as Bhagirathi at its source. Perform pooja and seek the blessings of Goddess Ganga. Spend some peaceful moments amidst the tranquil surroundings.

You may also visit nearby attractions such as the Kedar Ganga Sangam and the Submerged Shivling, visible in the river during certain seasons. Later, drive back to Uttarkashi. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 5Uttarkashi – Guptkashi (199 km / 6.9 hours) | Altitude: 1319 m

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast, check out from the hotel, and set off for Guptkashi via Moolgarh and Lambgaon. Enjoy the scenic drive as you pass through picturesque mountain landscapes. En route, stop at Tilwara to admire the beautiful views of the Mandakini River, which originates from Kedarnath. For much of the journey, you will be driving alongside this serene river.

Upon reaching Guptkashi, check in at your hotel and freshen up. In the evening, visit the revered Ardhnarishwar Temple, dedicated to the unique half-Shiva, half-Parvati form. Spend some time in the peaceful spiritual atmosphere before returning to your hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
