Itinerary

Day 1Delhi – Haridwar

Start early from Delhi and drive to Haridwar. When you arrive, check into the hotel and relax. In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri to see the Ganga Aarti.

Overnight stay: Haridwar

Day 2Haridwar – Barkot

After breakfast, drive to Barkot, the starting point for Yamunotri. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Himalayas along the way. Check into the hotel and relax for the night.

Day 3Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

Early in the morning, drive to Janki Chatti and trek or use a pony or palki to reach Yamunotri Temple. Visit the temple, offer prayers, and if you wish, take a holy dip in the Yamuna River. Return to Barkot in the evening.

Overnight stay: Barkot.

Day 4Barkot – Uttarkashi

After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi, a peaceful town by the Bhagirathi River. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and take in the tranquil atmosphere.

Overnight stay: Uttarkashi.

Day 5Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

Wake up early, have breakfast at the hotel, and drive to Gangotri Dham. Located in the beautiful Garhwal Himalayas, Gangotri sits at 3048 m. When you arrive, take a holy dip in the sacred river Bhagirathi at its source. Visit the Gangotri Temple, which is dedicated to Goddess Ganga. After completing the holy rituals, drive back to Uttarkashi. You can spend the rest of the day at your leisure. In the evening, have dinner and relax for the night.

Day 6Uttarkashi – Guptkashi

After having an early breakfast, leave for your next destination, Guptkashi. When you arrive, complete the check-in process and relax. This town is very important for its ancient temples, including the Vishwanath and Ardhanarishwar temples. Next, get your medical checkup for the following day’s journey to Kedarnath. Then, have dinner and spend the night at the hotel or camp.

Day 7Guptkashi – Sonprayag

Begin your day with an early breakfast, check out from the hotel, and drive to Sonprayag. From Sonprayag, start your trek to Kedarnath Dham. You can hire a Doli, ponies, or a horse for your trek at your own cost. Along the way, the chants of “Jai Bholenath” echo in the mountains. You will see the beautiful valley. Upon arrival, check in at the Government Camps or Lodges in Kedarnath and take some rest. Then have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 8Kedarnath – Sonprayag

The 8th day of your Chardham by car yatra is set for the darshan of Kedarnath Ji. Start your day at dawn. After bathing, you should reach the temple by 4:45 am for the Abhishek ceremony. You can then go inside the Garbha Griha and touch the idol. After completing the Kedarnath darshan and puja, leave the temple and head back to your accommodation. Later, begin your return trek from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. A vehicle will be waiting for you in the Sonprayag car parking. You will then drive to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9Guptkashi – Badrinath

This morning, pack your luggage and check out of the hotel by 8:00 a.m. Then, drive to Badrinath temple through Joshimath. After navigating some great Ghat roads, you’ll reach Badrinath. Once you arrive, check into the hotel and relax. After resting and having some refreshments, you can head to Badrinath Temple for darshan in the evening. First, visit Tapt Kund (Hot Spring), take a bath, and then go to the temple. Later, return to the hotel for dinner and spend the night there.

Day 10Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag

Begin your day early and go directly to the temple for the Aarti ceremony. After that, return to the hotel for breakfast and leave for local sightseeing in Badrinath. You’ll see major attractions like Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Mata Murti temple. Next, complete the checkout process and travel to Rudraprayag via Joshimath. On the way, visit Karanprayag, one of the Panch Prayags. When you arrive, check in and relax. Afterward, have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 11Rudraprayag – Devprayag – Dehradun – Rishikesh

Kickstart your day with breakfast. Complete the check-out process, then drive downhill to Rishikesh, known as the ‘Yoga Capital of the World’. Once you arrive, check in and take some time to rest. Later, go sightseeing and visit Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. In the evening, attend the Ganga Aarti, a sacred ritual performed at the Ghat of Rishikesh. You will gain a deeper understanding of Hindu culture and have a meaningful experience. Afterward, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 12Rishikesh – Haridwar – Delhi

Today is the last day of the Chardham Yatra by Car tour package. Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and finish the check-out process. Then, you will have a private vehicle to take you back to Delhi. Once you arrive in Delhi, you can continue with your onward journey.
